Training Camps/Opportunities
Sunnyvale Little League provides training to coaches, players and parents.
While most training is paid for by the league, some training may require fees.
Please be sure to check back here from time to time, as the league will
add training sessions throughout the season.

Fremont High School Baseball
Clinic |
Description: |
The Fremont High School Baseball
Team is offering two youth baseball clinics on Saturday February 3rd and
Saturday February 10th, 2018. Designed for athletes between 7 and 13 years old.
First 20 kids to register get a FREE FHS Baseball Sport Tee or Junior Firebirds
Softball T-Shirt. The clinics will be held at the Fremont High School Basbeball
Field. Skills Taught: Base Running, Fundamental Throwing & Catching,
Principles of Hitting, Glove Drills, Hitting in the Batting Cages &
Pitching Mechanics Please bring your own baseball mitt. Helmets & bats
optional and will be provided. |

Big Al Training for coaches and
parents of players 5-8 years old |
Description: |
A hands on training for coaches at
Tee-ball, Coach-Pitch and Machine-Pitch levels. Big Al and Scott will get you
out on the gym floor to demonstrate effective ways to teach the fundamental
skills of throwing, catching, fielding ground balls, fly balls, base running,
pitching and catching positions and hitting live and off a tee. Throughout the
session you will experience Big Al`s complete practice and game planning
approach. |

Big Al Training for coaches and
managers of players 9-12 years old |
Description: |
A hands on training session for
anyone working with Minor and Major Division players. Using his TEACH IT
- TRY IT - GAME IT' approach, Big Al will get you out on the gym floor and lead
you through warm-ups, throwing, catching, fielding ground balls, fly balls,
base running, hitting, bunting, pitching and catching behind the plate. Big Al
and Scott will introduce several drills and a practice planning approach for
your complete season. |

Stanford Baseball Camps |
Description: |
The Stanford University Baseball
Team will be holding several youth baseball camps this June
& July, 2018. Designed for athletes between 6 and 12 years old. The
clinics will be held at Sunken Diamond on the Stanford campus. |
