Direct Donations &
Corporate Matching A portion of fundraising dollars for the
league are generated each year by direct donations. If you would like to make a
direct donation to the league, we ask that you check with your employer to see
if they offer corporate matching. SVLL is registered with Benevity.com, which
is used by many employers to manage corporate matching.
How Corporate
Matching Works:
STEP 1 Find out if your
employer matches donations to nonprofits like Sunnyvale Little League and/or
volunteer hours. If your company isn't listed on this page, please: Check with
your HR department. Search online for "[company name] corporate matching" Email
fundraising@sunnyvalelittleleague.com for help. We would be
happy to research your company's corporate matching guidelines.
STEP 2 Fill out your employer's corporate matching form. Some
corporate intranet sites allow you to apply directly online; others provide
forms that can be printed out and mailed. To complete your employer's corporate
matching form, you will need the following information:

STEP 3 Follow your employer's
instructions to submit your forms. Please apply for your corporate matching
soon, as most companies have submission deadlines, and requests can take a few
months to be processed and for SVLL to receive the match.
Check with
your HR department or your corporate intranet to see if your employer offers
this benefit.
If your employer doesn't provide
matching
You can always donate directly to the league. Either
mail us a check at the address above, or make a donation electronically. We
offer two electronic payment optios:
Snack Shack
Fundraising A portion of fundraising dollars for the league are
generated each year by Snack Shack sales. These sales only occur when the Snack
Shack is open for business. Parents are encouraged to sign up for coverage
shifts during the season in order to ensure that these dollars can be
generated.
