SVLL Alum Ryan Lee makes collegiate debut
Congratulations to Sunnyvale Little League (Serra) alum Ryan Lee on his collegiate baseball debut. Lee started at catcher for the University of California at Davis Aggies (Big West Conference) vs Utah Valley University on February 18th.

Congratulations to Sunnyvale Little League (Serra) alum Blake Rogers on his collegiate baseball debut. Rogers pitched for the Baylor Bears (Big 12 Conference) vs Central Michigan on February 18th.

Hot Weather Policy
To help prevent heat related illness, SVLL is adopting a Heat Index based approach to suspending league activity during periods of excessive heat. In all cases, Managers should use their discretion and err on the side of caution if there is any question about safety.

2022 Western Region Juniors Tournament
With their wins in the District, Secton and State Tournaments, the Sunnyvale Little League Juniors All Stars advance to the Western Region Tournament, which begins on Thursday, August 4th in Bend Oregon.

Each year, the Sunnyvale Little League Board of Directors recognizes an individual for their commitment to, and participation in our league. SVLL Alum Malcolm Hsu makes collegiate debut
Congratulations to Sunnyvale Little League (Serra) alum Malcolm Hsu on his collegiate baseball debut. Hsu plays first base for the Umass Dartmouth Corsairs (Little East Conference), vs Immaculata on March 6th.

Baseball Equipment Guide
With the start of the season on horizon, many parents want to know what equipment their children should have in preparation for Little League baseball. This will vary depending on the division that your child is playing in, but we've tried to put together the following guide. Please be sure to ask our Player Agents or Equipment Director to get answers to specific questions.

Update on Majors & Minors Registration / Waiting List
We wanted to provide an update on our Majors and Minors Divisions as player evaluations are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, January 22 & 23 at Cupertino Middle School on Bernardo.

Board Members Needed
Sunnyvale Little League is a 100% volunteer run organization. We need parent volunteers to help run the league, as several board members are aging out of Little League. We have several board positions opening up in June, and are looking for a few dedicated parents to help fill those roles.

Little League Bat Standards
Little League Baseball will be adopting new bat standards as of January 1, 2018. All bats manufactured last year are now ineligible for use in any Little League activity. In order to participate in the league, all players must use USA Baseball approved bats.

The league has announced new sponsorship packages which provides a broad set of options for potential sponsors. All league members are encouraged to recruit potential sponsors by distributing our sponsorship letter to your employer or favorite local business. SVLL is a great way to let our local baseball community know about business in and around Sunnyvale.

Baseball in Sunnyvale is changing! After months of work by parent volunteers, the two leagues have merged to form the new Sunnyvale Little League.

It seems like we just wrapped up the 2016 Little League Season, but 2017 is on the horizon. With the new year, comes an exciting announcement regarding Little League Baseball in Sunnyvale, Los Altos and Cupertino. After more than 50 years operating as independent leagues, Serra Little League and Sunnyvale Southern Little League are merging to form the new Sunnyvale Little League!
